Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older
- People who score 5 or higher on the STOP-Bang questionnaire, which is a screening tool used to assess the likelihood of sleep apnea
- People who are already scheduled to have a sedated gastrointestinal endoscopy procedure (such as a gastroscopy, colonoscopy, or both together)
- People whose procedure is expected to take no longer than 45 minutes

- People with serious organ problems, including poor heart function, kidney failure requiring dialysis, severe liver disease, raised pressure in the skull, or those classified as having very poor overall physical health under standard medical assessment (ASA status IV or higher)
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People with a known allergy to sedative medications (such as propofol) or to medical adhesive products
- People who have sustained multiple traumatic injuries
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- People considered unsuitable by the trial investigators for any other reason
