Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by a psychiatrist

  • Children who have taken sedatives or pain-relief medicines within 48 hours before surgery
  • Children who have experienced a major life stressor within one month before surgery, such as a change in family situation or school, parental divorce, or the death of a parent
  • Children whose parent or guardian does not agree to take part in the trial
