- People who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by a child and adolescent psychiatrist, using current diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5)
- People who are between 6 and 17 years old at the time of joining the trial
- People whose medications or other treatments have not been changed or adjusted in the past 4 weeks
- People (or their guardians) who have signed a consent form agreeing to take part

- People who also have another psychiatric condition, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, or a substance use disorder
- People who also have certain physical health conditions, such as thyroid problems, cerebral palsy, or blood clotting disorders
- People who are currently taking omega-3 supplements or probiotic supplements
- People who have an allergy to omega-3
