Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 18 and 80 years old, of any gender
- People who have been confirmed through laboratory testing to have a specific type of stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer called adenocarcinoma
- People who have already had a standard type of stomach surgery (called D2 gastrectomy) where all visible cancer was removed, and who have not had any chemotherapy or other cancer treatment before surgery
- People whose cancer is classified as stage IIIA, IIIB, or IIIC according to a standard cancer staging system, and whose cancer tissue has been classified using a system called Lauren classification
- People with no signs that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body
- People who are either fully active or able to carry out light activity (rated 0 or 1 on a standard fitness scale used in cancer trials)
- People whose blood counts, liver function, and kidney function meet specific minimum levels needed to safely tolerate the treatment (confirm with trial site for exact values)
- Women who could become pregnant must have been using contraception for at least one month before joining, and must agree to continue using contraception throughout the study and for a set period after it ends
- People who have read, understood, and signed a consent form, and who are willing to follow the study plan

- People who have or have had another type of cancer, unless it was a fully treated skin cancer or a very early-stage cervical condition
- People with serious health complications that may mean they are not expected to live for at least 5 more years
- People with health conditions that are not well controlled, such as an active infection, high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart disease
- People who are known to be allergic to the medication used in this trial
- People who have a blockage in their bowel or any other condition that would prevent them from taking medication by mouth
- People whose blood, liver, or kidney results show their body may not be able to handle the study treatment
- People who the trial doctors consider unsuitable for the study for any other reason (confirm with trial site)
