Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People of any sex
- People who have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for less than 10 years
- People with a body mass index (a measure of body weight relative to height) of 25 or above

- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People currently using insulin injections or pumps as part of their diabetes treatment
- People currently taking a type of diabetes medication known as an SGLT2 inhibitor (confirm with trial site)
- People currently taking a type of diabetes medication known as a DPP-4 inhibitor (confirm with trial site)
- People currently taking a type of diabetes medication known as a GLP-1 receptor agonist (confirm with trial site)
- People who do not know how long they have had diabetes
