Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with epilepsy that is not fully controlled, meaning they have had one or more seizures in the last 6 months that were not caused by an obvious trigger

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are under 18 years of age
  • People who have received Levetiracetam through an intravenous drip (a needle into a vein) within the last 24 hours
  • People who are currently taking any other epilepsy medications alongside Levetiracetam
  • People who have taken any other epilepsy medications within the last two weeks
  • People who are pregnant
  • People who have significant kidney problems, including long-term reduced kidney function or a sudden decline in kidney function (confirm with trial site)
