- You have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) — including the diarrhea, constipation, or mixed type

Who may not be able to join:

- You have previously had surgery on your small bowel or large bowel, unless it was only an appendix or gallbladder removal
- You had your appendix or gallbladder removed within the last 6 months
- You have taken antibiotic tablets or capsules in the past 3 months
- You are planning significant changes to your diet or exercise routine in the 30 days before screening or during the study
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
