  • People who have a significant heart condition, such as severe heart failure, a recent heart attack, stroke, or a heart procedure within the past 3 months
  • People who have a history of pancreas inflammation (pancreatitis) or other factors that may raise the risk of developing it
  • People who have a personal or family history of a specific type of thyroid cancer (medullary thyroid carcinoma) or a related hormonal condition called multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
  • People who have significant liver disease, reduced kidney function (confirm with trial site), or abnormal blood test results at screening
  • People who have taken part in another clinical study within the past 30 days (or longer, depending on the study drug used); for studies involving GLP-1 medicines or weight loss treatments, participation within the past 3 months before screening may also be a factor
