Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are willing and able to sign and date a consent form agreeing to take part
- You are able to complete the required tests on the day you are scheduled for testing
- You can speak, read, and write English, or a translator can be available for you
- You are getting tested for HIV, Syphilis, and/or Hepatitis B — whether because you may be at risk, you have symptoms, or it is a routine check-up
- You do not know your HIV status, or you are HIV positive but have been on HIV treatment (ART) for less than 12 months
- You are willing to give a small finger-prick blood sample and a blood sample taken from a vein (about 16 ml in total)
- You are willing to take part in the testing site's standard counselling and testing program and receive your results through them
- Note: If you are pregnant and have been re-infected with one of the conditions being tested, you may still be eligible to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a bleeding disorder
- You are currently receiving treatment for Syphilis
- You have previously received an experimental HIV vaccine
- You received a Hepatitis B vaccine within the last 7 days
- You are HIV positive and have been on HIV treatment (ART) for 12 months or longer
- You have any other condition that the trial doctor feels would make it unsafe or unsuitable for you to participate, or that might affect the study results (confirm with trial site)
