Who might be able to join this trial:
- Be between 1 month and under 22 years of age
- Have been diagnosed by a doctor with a specific type of epilepsy caused by a KCNT1 gene problem
- Be experiencing an average of at least 4 noticeable seizures that involve movement per week
- Be taking no more than 6 seizure medications, and be able to keep the doses of those medications the same throughout the study period
Who may not be able to join:
- Anyone currently taking any of these specific medications: phenytoin, carbamazepine, stiripentol, or quinidine
- Anyone with a health condition that, in the doctor's judgment, could make it difficult or unsafe for them to take part in the study or could affect how well the study medication is evaluated (confirm with trial site)
