Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 19 years or older
  • People with a general health and activity level rated as 0, 1, or 2 on a standard oncology scale (called ECOG Performance Status), meaning they are able to carry out at least some daily activities
  • People who have been confirmed through laboratory testing to have a type of stomach cancer called gastric adenocarcinoma
  • People whose tumour has tested negative for HER-2, negative for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), and is classified as microsatellite stable (MSS) — these are specific biological features of the tumour
  • People whose cancer cannot be surgically removed and is at an advanced local stage, including cases where cancer has spread to certain nearby lymph nodes (near the aorta or collarbone area)
  • People who have already completed 3 or more rounds of a first-line treatment combining standard cancer therapy with immunotherapy, and whose cancer has not worsened during that time
  • People who have at least one tumour lesion that the medical team considers safe to treat with radiation, as assessed using standard measurement criteria (RECIST v1.1)
  • People who have given voluntary written consent to participate in the trial

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
  • People whose cancer has spread to the brain or to the lining surrounding the brain and spinal cord
  • People who have previously received radiation therapy to the area being targeted in this trial
  • People with serious uncontrolled health conditions — such as an active uncontrolled infection, heart failure, irregular heart rhythm, or a significant psychiatric illness — that the treating doctor believes would interfere with participation
  • People who are unable or unwilling to follow the procedures required by the study
  • People whom the principal investigator or treating doctor considers unsuitable for the trial for any other reason (confirm with trial site)
