Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes and have been assessed as having a higher-than-average risk of heart-related problems based on a specific scoring tool called SCORE2-Diabetes (score above 10%)

Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously had open-heart bypass surgery, a stent placed in a heart artery, an artificial heart valve fitted, or a permanent pacemaker implanted
- You have been diagnosed with moderate to severe heart failure that significantly limits your daily activities
- You have had a heart attack in the last 30 days
- You have a known allergy to the dye used in CT scans, or have other reasons why a CT scan would not be safe for you
- You have a serious irregular heartbeat, or a very high level of calcium build-up in your heart arteries (confirm with trial site)
- Your kidneys are not working well enough based on a blood test measure of kidney function
- You have had a serious reaction to a specific type of diabetes medication called SGLT2 inhibitors in the past
- You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
- You have severe liver disease
- You have any other health condition that the trial team feels would make it unsafe or unsuitable for you to participate
