Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with stomach cancer or cancer at the junction of the stomach and oesophagus, confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue samples
- People whose cancer has been assessed by a surgeon as advanced and not able to be removed through surgery
- People for whom surgery is not suitable due to general physical frailty or other existing health conditions
- People who are expected to have a survival period of at least 3 months
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a primary malignant tumour (a cancer that originated elsewhere in the body — confirm with trial site)
- People who have a blockage in the digestive tract caused by growths in the lower part of the stomach, the small intestine just after the stomach, the pancreas, or other nearby organs
- People who have an active serious infection, severely reduced liver or kidney function, or a condition affecting the blood's ability to clot
- People who have a known allergy to the study drugs, or who have a diagnosed mental health disorder
