  • You have used symptom-relief medications, probiotics, or acid-reducing medications (called proton pump inhibitors or PPIs) in the past two weeks
  • You have had surgery on any part of your digestive system in the past
  • The camera tests find physical problems such as ulcers, active inflammation, or certain types of bowel growths (polyps)
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
