Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 65 years old who are having a brain monitoring procedure (where sensors are placed inside the brain) as part of an evaluation before possible epilepsy surgery
- Healthy volunteers who do not have epilepsy are also eligible, for a non-invasive brain wave recording done with sensors placed on the scalp
- People who can speak and understand English or Spanish well enough to give consent and complete thinking and memory tasks
- People who are able to give their own informed consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant
- People who have an implanted electrical device in their body, such as a deep brain stimulator or a pacemaker
- People who are currently in prison
