Who might be able to join this trial:
Children:
- Children aged 2.5 to 14 years old at the time of joining, with the main focus on children aged 3 to 10 years.

- Caregivers who are able and willing to attend one in-person training session at the study site (approximately 2.5 hours) before the program begins.
- Caregivers who are able and willing to carry out the structured program with the child for at least 30 minutes every day across the 6-month program period.
- Caregivers who are able and willing to take part in monthly video check-in sessions online with the study clinician.
- Caregivers who have the reading and comprehension skills needed to understand the training materials and follow the program steps.
- Caregivers who provide written consent for both themselves and the child before any study activities begin.
Who may not be able to join:
Children:
- Children who have a known genetic condition linked to ASD or intellectual disability, such as Fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, tuberous sclerosis complex, or Rett syndrome.
- Children who have a neurological condition such as a brain injury, cerebral palsy, or epilepsy that has not been fully controlled by stable medication for at least 12 months.
- Children with vision or hearing difficulties that have not been corrected and that would prevent them from taking part in the trial's assessments.
- Children who are currently taking part in another clinical trial focused on social skills, communication, or behaviour.
- Children who have any other medical, psychiatric, or developmental condition that the recruiting clinician believes would interfere with their ability to take part in or benefit from the program.
Caregivers:
- Caregivers who are unable to attend the required in-person training session at the study site, for any reason such as location or work commitments.
- Caregivers who are unable to commit to the daily home program or the monthly online sessions for the full 6-month period.
- Caregivers who have significant mental health difficulties or other circumstances that the recruiting clinician believes would make it hard to deliver the program as intended.
