"Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able and willing to give their consent to take part, and who can communicate in English (information sheets may be available in Welsh on request, but the tests used require English).
- Part 1 – People with MS: People who have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and are aged 18 or older.
- Part 2 – People with MS: People aged 18 or older with a diagnosis of MS who have already completed the cognitive (thinking and memory) screening in Part 1, and where the clinical team identified mild or moderate cognitive difficulties based on their test scores and conversations with their care team.
- Part 3 – People with MS: People with MS who took part in Part 2 of the study.
- Part 3 – Healthcare staff: Nurses, doctors, therapists, or other healthcare professionals involved in delivering the NEuRoMS screening or treatment programme to people with MS in Parts 1 and 2.
- Part 4 – People with MS: People with MS who took part in Part 2 of the study (and did not take part in Part 3 interviews).
- Part 4 – Healthcare staff and service planners: Healthcare professionals involved in the NEuRoMS programme, as well as people who work in NHS service planning and commissioning roles.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not have the mental capacity to give their own consent to take part in the study.
- People taking part in Part 2 who are currently receiving a specialist psychological therapy aimed at treating cognitive (thinking or memory) difficulties.
- People taking part in Part 2 who have already received the NEuRoMS intervention during earlier phases of the research (referred to as WP2ii or WP3) (confirm with trial site).
- People with MS taking part in Part 3 who have already participated in the Part 4 interviews.
- People with MS taking part in Part 4 who have already participated in the Part 3 interviews.
