Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults or children aged 7 years and older (both male and female) may be eligible
- Someone who has not been diagnosed with thyroid cancer themselves, but has 2 close family members (such as parents, siblings, or children) who have or have had a specific type of thyroid cancer called non-medullary thyroid cancer
- Someone who has been diagnosed with non-medullary thyroid cancer AND has at least one living family member who has also been diagnosed with the same type of thyroid cancer
- Any member of a family where 2 or more close relatives (parents, siblings, or children) have been diagnosed with non-medullary thyroid cancer (note: you do not need to have thyroid cancer yourself to take part)
- Adults must be able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
- Adults must be able to fill out a questionnaire about their family's medical history
Who may not be able to join:
- Anyone who is unwilling or unable to give their consent to take part in the study
