Who might be able to join this trial:
(For patients)
- You have been diagnosed with medullary thyroid cancer (a type of thyroid cancer), confirmed by laboratory testing, OR you have been diagnosed with a genetic condition called MEN2A or MEN2B (with or without thyroid cancer).
- You are able to travel to the NIH (National Institutes of Health) and take part in the required assessments and evaluations.
- You (or your legal guardian, if you are under 18) are able to understand and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part.
- You may have had no previous treatment, some past treatment, or be currently receiving treatment or radiation for conditions related to MEN2 — all of these situations are welcome.
- You have a regular doctor, such as an oncologist or endocrinologist, who can manage and coordinate your ongoing medical care.
(For parents or primary caregivers)
- You are a parent or main caregiver of a child or young person under 21 who has been diagnosed with medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2 (with or without thyroid cancer).
- You are able to understand and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part.
Who may not be able to join:

- In the opinion of the research team, you are not able to return for follow-up visits or complete the required follow-up tests.
(For parents or primary caregivers)
- There are no exclusion criteria listed for parents or caregivers.
