Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 years or older
• People with confirmed lung cancer who need an EBUS-TBNA procedure (a type of camera test of the airways used to examine lymph nodes) as part of their cancer staging before receiving a specific type of radiation treatment called SBRT
• People with a general health and activity level that falls within a certain acceptable range, as measured by a standard medical scoring system (WHO/ECOG score of 0–2) (confirm with trial site)
• People whose lung cancer has been confirmed as a specific type called non-small cell lung cancer, through a tissue or cell sample
• People whose cancer is at an early stage (T1–T2) with no signs that it has spread to other parts of the body

• People whose medical condition means surgery is not a safe option for them
• People who have chosen not to have surgery

Who may not be able to join:

• People considered by their doctors to be medically unfit to safely undergo a bronchoscopy (a camera examination of the airways)
• People who have an active infection in their body, lungs, or around the heart
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People whose treatment plan includes conventional radiotherapy, chemotherapy, biological therapy, vaccine therapy, or surgery (except if the disease gets worse later)
• People who are not able to give their informed consent to take part
