Kidney Cancer Group:
- People aged 18 or older who speak English and have been diagnosed with kidney cancer, or where kidney cancer is suspected
Family Member Group:
- People aged 18 or older who speak English and are a blood relative of someone already enrolled in the kidney cancer group — this includes parents, siblings, half-siblings, children, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Blood relatives do not need to have kidney cancer themselves to be eligible for this group
Control Group:
- People aged 18 or older who speak English, have no personal history of cancer (except certain common skin cancers), and are not related by blood to anyone else enrolled in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People who, in the opinion of the treating doctor or trial investigator, have a condition that would prevent them from being able to give informed consent to participate
