Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
- Your cancer can be measured using standard imaging or assessment methods
- Your cancer has been confirmed by a tissue biopsy to be squamous cell carcinoma (a specific type of cancer cell) of the penis
- Your cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes in the groin area (either one side or both sides, or the nodes are fixed in place), but has not spread to distant parts of the body
- You are well enough to carry out daily activities, or have only mild limitations — roughly healthy enough to be up and about for most of the day
Who may not be able to join:
- Your penile cancer is a specific rare type called pure verrucous carcinoma
- Your penile cancer is a type other than squamous cell carcinoma
- Your cancer started in the urethra (the tube that carries urine), rather than the penis itself
- Your cancer has already spread to distant parts of the body (such as organs or distant lymph nodes)
- You have previously had chemotherapy or a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy
- You have had another cancer (other than certain common skin cancers) that needed treatment — surgical or otherwise — within the last 3 years (confirm with trial site)
