- People aged 50 or older who also meet at least one of the following conditions:
- People who have recently had a hip fracture and are being treated in an orthopaedic ward
- People in a geriatric ward where an X-ray has newly identified a spinal (vertebral) fracture, or people attending an outpatient clinic with a newly identified spinal fracture causing symptoms
- People who have recently been started on osteoporosis medications for the first time
- People whose osteoporosis medications have recently been changed
- People who have been having difficulty taking their osteoporosis medications as prescribed
- People whose treating doctor believes they would benefit from extra support in managing their osteoporosis and medications
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose life expectancy is estimated to be less than 2 years, or people who cannot be assessed due to communication difficulties
- People whose fracture is classified as an "atypical" fracture (confirm with trial site for clarification on what this means in this context)
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial involving medications
- People who are not willing to participate in the assessments and treatment involved in the trial
