Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected of having, a melanocytic lesion (a type of skin growth involving pigment-producing cells), including types such as conventional melanoma, Spitzoid melanoma or atypical Spitz tumor, congenital melanoma, melanoma arising from a large birthmark, or pigment-related lesions whose behaviour is uncertain
• People who were younger than 19 years old at the time of their diagnosis
• People for whom tissue samples are available for biological research
• People who are already enrolled, or will be enrolled, in a related tissue banking study called the TBANK protocol at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital before any research tests are carried out on their biological samples

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose melanoma originated in the eye (ocular melanoma)
• People, or their legal guardian, who are unable or unwilling to give consent to participate
• People whose tissue diagnosis is something other than the specific melanocytic lesion types listed above
