Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) where the tumour cells produce a protein called GPC3.
- People with a life expectancy of more than 12 weeks.
- People whose liver disease is at a manageable level, as measured by a standard scoring system called the Child-Pugh-Turcotte score being below 7.
- People whose heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys are functioning adequately.

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously received gene therapy.
- People whose tumour is larger than 25 cm.
- People with a serious viral infection, such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV.
- People who have tested positive for HIV.
- People who have previously had a liver transplant.
- People with an active infection caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or similar.
- People with other serious medical conditions that the trial investigators consider unsuitable (confirm with trial site).
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
- People receiving ongoing steroid treatment at or above a certain daily dose (equivalent to 0.5 mg of prednisone per kilogram of body weight per day).
