Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with uterine (endometrial) cancer that has been confirmed by a tissue sample, and your cancer is at a specific stage or type as determined by your doctor (confirm with trial site for your exact stage and type)
- You have either not yet had surgery for your uterine cancer, OR you had a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) within the last 8 weeks without removal of lymph nodes
- Your lymph nodes are not significantly enlarged
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (your doctor will assess this)
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You are willing and able to give written consent to participate
- You are able to follow the trial requirements reliably
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cancer is at a very early stage with a low-grade (slow-growing) tumour of a specific common type
- You have a type of uterine cancer called a sarcoma (except for a specific type called carcinosarcoma)
- Your cancer has spread significantly to other parts of the body (advanced stage III or IV), except for very small amounts of cancer found in lymph nodes
- There are visible signs that the cancer has spread outside the uterus
- Your cancer has come back after previous treatment
- You have already received chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or hormone therapy for your uterine cancer
- You have another health condition that would make surgery or chemotherapy unsafe for you
- Your medical history suggests you may be at high risk during surgery
- You are currently taking medications that could increase surgical risks, such as blood thinners
- You have a condition or situation that would make it difficult for you to participate fully or attend follow-up appointments
- You have a second (other) cancer where that cancer or its treatment could affect your outlook
- You have a known HIV infection or AIDS
- You are already taking part in another clinical trial, unless specifically approved by the trial organisers
