Who might be able to join this trial:

If you have endometrial cancer:

  • You are 40 years old or younger
  • You have a strong wish to preserve your fertility (ability to have children in the future)
  • Your cancer has been confirmed by specialist pathologists as a slow-growing, early-stage type (grade 1 endometrioid adenocarcinoma) that responds to progesterone hormone
  • Your cancer is confined only to the lining of the womb (stage 1A), confirmed by MRI scan
  • Your blood test for certain cancer markers (CA125/CA199) is within the normal range
  • You have been fully informed that fertility-preserving treatment is not the standard approach for this condition, and you agree to take part and attend all follow-up appointments

If you have endometrial atypical hyperplasia (abnormal cells in the womb lining):

  • You are 40 years old or younger
  • You have a strong wish to preserve your fertility
  • Your condition has been confirmed by specialist pathologists as atypical endometrial hyperplasia
  • You agree to take part in the study and attend all follow-up appointments

Who may not be able to join:

If you have endometrial cancer:

  • You have allergies or medical reasons preventing you from taking the drugs used in this trial (some conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, liver problems, or blood clots may still be acceptable — confirm with trial site)
  • You have a hereditary condition called Lynch syndrome
  • You have medical reasons why pregnancy would not be safe for you
  • You have other serious health conditions, cancer elsewhere in your body, active liver or kidney disease, an active infection in the reproductive tract, or a womb shape or structure that might make fitting a coil (intrauterine device) impossible
  • You are unwilling to attend follow-up appointments or sign the consent form

If you have endometrial atypical hyperplasia:

  • You have allergies or medical reasons preventing you from taking the drugs used in this trial (some conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, liver problems, or blood clots may still be acceptable — confirm with trial site)
  • You have medical reasons why pregnancy would not be safe for you
  • You have other serious health conditions, cancer elsewhere in your body, active liver or kidney disease, an active infection in the reproductive tract, or a womb shape or structure that might make fitting a coil impossible
  • You are unwilling to attend follow-up appointments or sign the consent form
