Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults over 18 years old who have a known or suspected brain tumour.
• People who are able to give written consent themselves, or who have a trusted representative able to give consent on their behalf.

• People who have a reason they cannot safely undergo PET or MRI scanning, or cannot receive the imaging agents used in the trial — this includes claustrophobia, body weight above the scanner's maximum limit, or having certain metal implants or medical devices in the body that have not been confirmed as safe for MRI (such as pacemakers, aneurysm clips, metal fragments, or certain surgical implants).
• People with sickle cell disease.
• People whose kidneys are not functioning well enough, based on a blood test result (confirm with trial site).
• People with a known allergic reaction to a group of compounds chemically similar to the imaging agent used in this trial (called nitroimidazoles).
• People for whom receiving supplemental oxygen during the study could be harmful, such as those with severe end-stage lung disease or certain breathing conditions requiring assisted breathing devices.
• People with another serious ongoing illness, such as an uncontrolled infection, another uncontrolled cancer, uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes, or significant psychiatric or social circumstances that could affect the study.
• People with poor vein access that would make it difficult to place an intravenous line.
• People for whom the principal investigator believes participation would carry additional risk — for example, those already receiving end-of-life or hospice care.
