Group 1 – People with reduced kidney function:
- Adults aged 18 or older

- People who currently have an active cancer
- People with a known allergy to tetracycline (a type of antibiotic)
- People who are pregnant
Group 2 – Control group:
- People with a history of kidney disease
- People whose calcium or parathyroid hormone levels fall outside the normal range
- People with a known bone metabolism condition
- People currently taking blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants)
- People who have problems with blood clotting or bleeding
