Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a specific type of cervical cancer (adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, or adeno-squamous carcinoma), confirmed by a tissue sample test
- Your cancer has been classified as an early stage (FIGO stage IB — but not IB3 — or stage IIA1) according to standard cancer staging guidelines
- You are planned to have a type of surgery called a radical hysterectomy (a specific surgical removal of the uterus and surrounding tissue)

Who may not be able to join:
- Your cervical cancer is a different type than those listed above

- You have previously had radiotherapy (radiation treatment) to your pelvis or abdomen
- You are currently pregnant
- You have a medical reason why surgery would not be safe for you
- There is evidence that your cancer has spread to other parts of the body, or your lymph nodes (glands) are significantly enlarged or have been found to contain cancer cells
- You have another serious illness or condition that the medical team believes would make participation unsafe (confirm with trial site)
- You are unable to lie in certain positions required during surgery (on your back with legs raised and body tilted) for an extended period
- You have had another type of invasive cancer within the last 5 years — with some exceptions, such as certain non-melanoma skin cancers or a very early-stage, low-grade breast cancer with no signs of return (confirm with trial site)
