Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with a hydatidiform mole (an abnormal growth that forms in the uterus instead of a normal pregnancy), confirmed by laboratory or tissue testing
- People who have small spots or nodules found on a lung scan (CT scan), where it cannot be ruled out that these spots may have spread from the mole
- People whose hormone levels (a pregnancy-related hormone called hCG) do not yet meet the official medical standards for diagnosing a cancerous form of the condition
- People who are willing to follow the study plan and attend regular check-up appointments
- People who agree to sign a consent form before taking part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who had lung nodules or spots on their lungs before their current diagnosis
- People whose lung scan results clearly suggest the nodules are caused by another condition, such as tuberculosis or pneumonia
- People who have already had their uterus surgically removed as a preventive measure, or who have already received chemotherapy
- People who have already been diagnosed with a cancerous form of the condition (gestational trophoblastic neoplasia) before or at the time of joining the trial

- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial at the same time
