Who might be able to join this trial:
- People whose cancer is at an early stage (T1N0M0), meaning it has not spread to nearby lymph nodes or other parts of the body, and can be removed with surgery.

Who may not be able to join:

- People who did not have a lobectomy (removal of a section of the lung) or a sublobar resection (removal of a smaller portion of the lung) as their surgery.
- People who have had another type of cancer in the past 5 years.
- People who have previously had chest surgery, or for whom keyhole-style chest surgery (known as VATS) is not suitable.
- People who have previously had radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
