Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, or a urinary/reproductive system cancer (any stage), or any type of cancer depending on which part of the study you join
- You are currently being treated with a type of immunotherapy called an immune checkpoint inhibitor (a cancer drug that works with your immune system)
- You are willing and able to read, understand, and sign a consent form and complete surveys
- You have a life expectancy of more than 4 months (for one part of the study)
- You are experiencing diarrhea and/or bowel inflammation (colitis) as a side effect of your immunotherapy treatment (for some parts of the study)
- Your diarrhea/colitis side effects are moderate to severe and you are receiving, or have received, treatments such as steroids or other immune-suppressing medicines (for some parts of the study)
- Your diarrhea/colitis has not responded to steroids and at least two other immune-suppressing medicines, OR you cannot take immune-suppressing medicines, OR your symptoms came back after treatment, OR your symptoms return when steroids are reduced or stopped (for one specific part of the study)
- You have no signs of an active gut infection at the time of joining the study, confirmed by stool tests or your doctor's assessment (for one part of the study)
- You have been cleared by an infectious disease doctor or your treating doctor if any infection screening test came back positive (for one part of the study)
Who may not be able to join:
- You are under 18 years old
- You have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) or bowel damage from radiation that is currently active
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are a woman who could become pregnant and either test positive on a pregnancy test, or decline to take one (unless you have not had a period for over a year, your doctor has documented you are near or past menopause, or there is recent evidence confirming you are not pregnant)
- You develop side effects affecting organs outside the digestive system around the time of a procedure called a fecal transplant (for one part of the study)
- You have an active bacterial or fungal infection (for one part of the study)
- A stool donor connected to your treatment is assessed as being at risk for monkeypox infection or exposure (for one part of the study)
