Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are currently receiving care at a regular outpatient clinic (not a hospital stay).
  • You have experienced or witnessed one or more deeply distressing or traumatic events, as measured by a screening questionnaire.
  • You are experiencing symptoms related to trauma, such as feeling constantly on edge, avoiding certain things, unwanted memories or flashbacks, difficulty managing emotions, or struggles in relationships.
  • Your symptoms have been present for at least six months.
  • You can understand and speak Norwegian well enough to take part in a group-based skills and stabilization program.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently experiencing active symptoms of psychosis (such as hallucinations or delusions).
  • You have a current problem with addiction to alcohol, drugs, or other substances.
  • Your individual therapist considers you to be at high risk of suicide at this time.
  • You have already taken part in this particular course before.
