Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been newly diagnosed with a specific type of nasopharyngeal cancer called "non-keratinizing" (confirmed by tissue biopsy, based on World Health Organization classification)
- People whose cancer has been staged as locally advanced (T3-4 with any lymph node involvement, or any T stage with significant lymph node involvement), based on the 8th edition staging system

- People who have been fully informed about the nature of the trial and have signed a written consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer is the keratinizing squamous cell type or basaloid squamous cell type
- People aged 65 or older, or under 18 years of age
- People whose treatment is planned with palliative intent (aimed at comfort rather than cure)
- People who have had a previous cancer, unless it was a fully treated non-melanoma skin cancer or early-stage cervical cancer
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have previously received radiotherapy (with an exception for certain skin cancers treated outside the area being studied)
- People who have previously received chemotherapy or surgery related to the current cancer (diagnostic procedures are allowed)
- People with serious ongoing health conditions that could pose unacceptable risks or affect participation — examples listed include unstable heart disease, kidney disease, chronic hepatitis, poorly controlled diabetes, or significant emotional or psychological difficulties
