Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Adults aged 18 years or older.
  • People who are willing to take part in the study.
  • People who are able to understand and sign a consent form.
  • People diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, or locally advanced non-inflammatory breast cancer, who are having lymph nodes removed from the armpit area and are expected to receive radiation therapy.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have taken blood-thinning medications within 7 days before their surgery.
  • People who are known to be pregnant at the time of surgery.
  • People who are not available for follow-up appointments for at least 18 months, or who are unlikely to attend measurements within the scheduled timeframes.
  • People with a body mass index (BMI) higher than 50.0 (a measure of body weight relative to height).
