Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 90 years old
- People of any sex (male or female)
- People who agree to allow their medical and tissue data to be collected for research
- People who are scheduled to have a surgical procedure called TURBT to remove or examine a bladder tumour
- People who are scheduled to have their bladder surgically removed (with or without removal of nearby lymph nodes), sometimes called a radical cystectomy
- People who are scheduled to have a tumour biopsy taken from either a primary tumour or one that has spread to another part of the body
- People who are scheduled to have a kidney and ureter removed (with or without partial bladder or ureter removal), with or without lymph node removal
- People who are scheduled to have a tumour removed or examined through an internal camera procedure (endoscopy)
- People whose cancer has spread to other areas and those secondary tumours are planned to be surgically removed
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not agree to allow their medical and tissue data to be collected
- People who later withdraw their agreement for their medical and tissue data to be used
- People who decline the treatment that has been planned for them
- Women who are pregnant or where pregnancy is suspected
