Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 to 80 years old
- Both men and women are eligible
- People who have been diagnosed with one or more white patches (leukoplakia) in the mouth, including cases where the white patches are linked to a condition called lichen planus, OR are linked to an immune system disease or a weakened immune system, OR are linked to a history of cancer somewhere else in the body (not including the mouth)
- People who have given their agreement to take part in the study after being fully informed about it
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have signs of an active invasive cancer in the mouth
- People who have a history of mouth cancer
- People who are not able to give informed consent themselves
- People who have been assessed as not suitable by the trial team (confirm with trial site)
