Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults over 18 years old who have primary (originating in the liver) or secondary (spread to the liver from elsewhere) liver tumours, or small kidney tumours, where surgery is not possible or cannot fully remove the tumour
- People with primary liver cancer who have up to three tumour nodules, each no larger than 3 cm
- People with secondary liver tumours who have nodules no larger than 3 cm, where the goal is to completely clear all tumours from the liver
- People with kidney tumours smaller than 4 cm, including those with single or multiple tumours (such as those with a condition called von Hippel-Lindau syndrome)
Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are pregnant
- People with blood clotting problems that cannot be managed or controlled
- People whose cancer has spread extensively beyond the liver or kidney
- People being considered for liver treatment who have had a surgical connection made between the bile ducts and the digestive system (confirm with trial site)
