Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been clinically diagnosed with episodic migraine (migraine that comes and goes, rather than being constant).
  • People between 18 and 65 years of age whose migraine diagnosis meets the International Headache Society criteria, with a migraine history of at least 1 year.
  • People who experience between 2 and 8 migraine attacks per month, with headache-free days in between attacks, and no more than 5 days per month of lower-level headache between attacks.

  • People who have been diagnosed with chronic migraine (migraines that are frequent and ongoing rather than episodic).
  • People who have previously stopped taking idebenone (a specific study medication) because of side effects.
  • People who are currently taking idebenone, or who have taken it within the 14 days before enrolling in the trial.
  • People who experience headaches that are continuous and do not go away.
