Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are at least 18 years old
  • People who are able to understand what the study involves

  • People who are currently breastfeeding, as the device used in the trial contains certain chemical compounds (called phthalates) that may raise concerns about reproductive and developmental effects
  • People who have an infected or inflamed cervix
  • People with a confirmed or suspected infection in the pelvic area
  • People with a confirmed or suspected vaginal infection
  • People who have recently experienced a uterine perforation (a tear or hole in the uterus)
  • People who have had a cervical abnormality treated with LEEP or cone biopsy, but have not yet had a normal Pap smear result at least 4 months after that treatment
