Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Adults aged 18 or older who have advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (a specific type of lung cancer) that has either spread to other parts of the body (Stage IV) or has come back after earlier treatment that was intended to cure it

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose lung cancer has a specific genetic change (called a driver mutation) that could be treated with targeted therapy drugs
  • People who currently have another active cancer that requires ongoing treatment
  • People experiencing moderate or severe nerve damage causing sensory problems (such as numbness or tingling), rated Grade 2 or higher
  • People who have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that have not yet been treated
  • People with a history of bleeding disorders, or those who have coughed up more than half a teaspoon of blood in the past two months
