Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 16 years or older
- People who are willing and able to give written consent to take part
- People who have been diagnosed with locally advanced or metastatic melanoma (also called stage III or stage IV melanoma)
- People who have a tumour that a doctor can safely access for a biopsy, either using imaging guidance or surgery (this applies to the part of the study involving biopsies)

Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to give informed consent to participate

- People with a history of HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or other infectious diseases that can be passed between people
- People with any condition where taking research biopsies or blood samples could increase the risk of complications for the patient or the research team, including people in higher-risk groups such as intravenous drug users
