Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing and able to give full written consent as required by the ethics committee overseeing the study
- People who have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (a specific type of cancer) in the head and neck area, including the throat, voice box, mouth, or nasal/sinus region, confirmed by tissue testing
- People whose cancer is locally advanced but has not spread to other parts of the body, based on diagnostic imaging

Who may not be able to join:
- People who cannot have an MRI scan, such as those with a pacemaker, aneurysm clips, any metal in the body, or severe claustrophobia
- People with serious other health conditions — including a previous or separate cancer — that in the opinion of the investigator could affect their ability to complete the study or affect the results (for example, poorly controlled diabetes)
- People who have had a confirmed diagnosis of this same type of cancer (squamous cell carcinoma), from the same or a different location, within the last five years
- People who decide they wish to withdraw from the study for any reason during its course
