Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a cancer that their oncologist plans to treat next with a type of immunotherapy drug that targets PD-1 or PD-L1, where that drug is the only immunotherapy being used (a separate group of 25 people also needs to be planned for treatment with both an anti-PD-1/PD-L1 drug and an anti-CTLA-4 drug combined)
- People who are willing to complete symptom questionnaires throughout the study
- People who are willing to have blood drawn as part of the study
- People who are able to give informed consent to take part
- People who are 18 years of age or older
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a history of overactive or underactive thyroid, whether it caused symptoms or was detected without symptoms
- People whose blood hemoglobin (a measure of red blood cell health) is below 9 (confirm with trial site for units and context)
