Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years old or older
- You must be willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
- You must have a localized tumor (mass) on the kidney that can be treated with surgery that aims to save as much of the kidney as possible
- You must have had a recent detailed scan of your abdomen, either a CT scan or MRI scan, done with contrast dye
Who may not be able to join:
- You may not be able to join if you have, or are suspected to have, a type of kidney cancer that starts in the lining of the urinary system (called urothelial cancer)
- You may not be able to join if you have previously had kidney-sparing surgery on the same kidney that is now affected
- You may not be able to join if your kidney cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastasized)
