Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have an ovarian cyst (endometrioma) that is 6cm or larger, confirmed by MRI or ultrasound
- You have endometriosis that may be limited to the ovaries, or may also affect other areas such as the lining of the pelvis or deeper tissues, or the wall of the uterus
- Your cyst(s) can be on one or both ovaries
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cyst shows unusual or abnormal features on scans or during keyhole surgery that may suggest something other than a typical endometrioma
- You are currently pregnant
- You have a medical reason why you cannot take a specific hormone-suppressing medication (GnRH agonist) used in this trial (confirm with trial site)
- You have a medical reason why you cannot have keyhole surgery (laparoscopy)
- You have a medical reason why you cannot have general anaesthesia
- You do not wish to take part in the study
