Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 to 90 years old
- People whose MRI scan shows a brain tumour diagnosed as glioblastoma (GBM) by a neurosurgeon
- People whose tumour is located in or near important brain areas that control movement, sensation, speech, or vision, as shown on MRI
- People whose tumour a neurosurgeon considers suitable for surgical removal
- People who are able to provide written consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose tumour is located in the cerebellum, brain stem, or the central midline of the brain
- People whose scans show multiple tumour sites with contrast enhancement (confirm with trial site)
- People who cannot have an MRI scan for medical reasons, such as having a pacemaker
- People who are unable to provide written informed consent, for example due to a significant language barrier
- People who have had another type of cancer within the past 5 years, with the exception of certain early-stage cancers that have been fully treated, such as a localised carcinoma of any organ or a basal cell skin cancer
