Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been newly diagnosed with glioblastoma (a type of brain tumour) that has been confirmed by tissue testing, and who have had as much of the tumour safely removed as possible (or a biopsy if removal was not possible).

• People who are willing and able to give written informed consent before joining.

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose tumour has tested negative for MGMT promoter methylation, or whose result could not be reported.
• People who have a recurrent (previously treated) malignant brain tumour.
• People who have had another cancer in the past, unless they have been cancer-free for 3 or more years (non-melanoma skin cancer is generally not a barrier — confirm with trial site).
• People who have previously had radiation therapy to the head or neck (with the exception of a specific early-stage throat cancer — confirm with trial site), or who have had prior drug treatments that would prevent them from safely receiving the chemotherapy used in this trial.
• People who have taken part in another clinical treatment trial within 30 days before joining, or who would be doing so at the same time.
• People with serious active health conditions, including: unstable chest pain or heart failure requiring hospitalisation; a heart attack within the past 6 months; a serious bacterial or fungal infection currently requiring intravenous antibiotics; any severe condition that would make the chemotherapy unsafe to use; a known allergic reaction to the chemotherapy drugs used in this trial; or an active hepatitis B infection.
