Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with chronic phase chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML), a type of blood cancer, and were treated with a type of medication called a TKI (either alone or combined with other drugs such as interferon or a vaccine targeting the disease).
• People who have already stopped taking their TKI medication, for any reason.
• People whose disease had reached a very deep level of response before stopping treatment — meaning tests showed the cancer was at an extremely low, near-undetectable level in the blood, confirmed by at least three tests before stopping treatment. (For people who stopped treatment before modern testing standards were established, undetectable results on at least two tests may be accepted — confirm with trial site.)
• People who are willing and able to give their signed agreement to participate in the study.

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose CML was ever diagnosed at an advanced stage, known as accelerated phase or blastic phase CML.
